On Tuesday, 9 December 2025, the 14th “Athlete of the Year Election” event was held in the multimedia hall of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The most significant award of the evening, the title of Athlete of the Year, was given to the best BiH swimmer Lana Pudar, who, with her results, once again confirmed her status as one of the greatest sports hopes and ambassadors of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the international scene.

The award-presentation ceremony took place in a festive and inspiring atmosphere, emphasizing the importance of sport as a driver of unity, motivation and success.

The event was attended by Semira Cheikh Dommar and Anita Vlašić on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports.
