On 22 October 2025, the 9th meeting of the Subcommittee for Innovation, Information Society and Social Policy was held in the premises of the Directorate for European Integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the European Commission was presented with the measures taken and the implementation of recommendations under the chapters “Information Society and Media”, “Social Policy and Employment”, “Education and Culture”, “Research and Innovation”.

At the request of the European Commission, the Coordinator for European integration on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, Bjanka Alajbegović, presented information on the Youth Strategy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On 14 February 2025, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the Decision Proposal on the Creation of the Youth Strategy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the Period 2025-2034. The Ministry has been coordinating and leading the process of developing the Youth Strategy, respecting the principle of horizontal and vertical coordination.

The main objectives of the Strategy include comprehensive education, employment, healthcare, youth safety, and sports, culture, and the environment, as well as activism, volunteering, and mobility. The two main strategic objectives of the Strategy are: to develop an encouraging system of education and business environment for youth, and to build a healthy and safe environment that strengthens the existential security of young people.
