The 22nd International Comedy Festival “Mostarska liska” was held in Mostar from Saturday, 17 May to Thursday, 22 May 2025. The awards-presentation ceremony will be held tomorrow, 23 May 2025, at the Mostar National Theatre starting at 8 p.m., which will close this year’s Festival. Filmmusicorkestar trio from Zagreb will perform at the closing ceremony.
The Federal Minister of Culture and Sports sent a congratulatory message to the Director of the Mostar National Theatre, Mr. Edin Spahić, as follows:
Dear Mr. Spahić,
Thank you for the invitation to the closing ceremony of the “Mostarska Liska” International Comedy Festival, which will be held on Friday, 23 May 2025. Unfortunately, I am unable to respond to your kind invitation, therefore I would like to extend my most sincere congratulations on the successful organisation of the Festival.
The “Mostarska liska” Festival has been for 22 years a true celebration of creativity, talent and togetherness, giving the City of Mostar and its guests an opportunity to enjoy the extraordinary performances that you bring to the stage from all over the region.
I deeply appreciate your efforts and passion for preserving culture and promoting comedy, because laughter is what brings us together and gives beauty to everyday life. I hope that I will soon have the opportunity to personally share the joy of such events with you.
I wish you a successful closing of the Festival and much inspiration for future projects!
