Last night, the Sarajevo premiere of the theatre project “Hasanaginica, kako ti je ime” (Hasanaginica, what’s your name) by Hasija Borić-Stojić was held in the packed hall of the International Centre for Children and Youth “Dječja kuća”. This work of art speaks about an unfortunately increasingly topical topic, one of the most serious wounds of our society – violence against women and the tragic reality of femicide. The play intertwines literary verses and texts, testimonies of inherited traditional relationships, but also melodies in the author’s characteristic performance, in a special authorial way, thus opening up space for reflection and dialogue on a topic that must not be ignored due to the tragic consequences we witness every day.

The play was attended by Mirela Milićević Šečić on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports.
