On behalf of the Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, the opening of the 18^th May Music Festival was attended by Emilija Pavićević, Adviser to the Minister. At the very beginning of the ceremony, the Dean of the Music Academy in Sarajevo, Ališer Sijarić, addressed the attendees. He pointed out that the oldest musical and artistic higher education institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina was celebrating its 70^th birthday. The audience of the City of Sarajevo had an opportunity to enjoy excellent performance and interpretations of Edin Karamazov, one of the most original and respected guitarists and lute players of nowadays, who opened the Festival.
