Minister Sanja Vlaisavljević received today the President of the Women’s Basketball Club “Play Off” Sarajevo, Armin Šećerović and basketball player Mija Kulenović.

Šećerović and Kulenović presented to the Minister the work and achievements of the Club, which competes in the highest-level competitions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in the last six years had won three BiH championship titles, one BiH Cup and the title of Junior BiH champions. Furthermore, they discussed numerous financial difficulties encountered in realisation of the planned upcoming activities.

Minister Vlaisavljević welcomed the representatives of the Women’s Basketball Club “Play Off” to the Ministry, and pointed out that she was happy to see the young girls showing their skills in the basketball court and affirming women’s sports. She pointed out that the Ministry would provide support for the activities of the Club in accordance with its possibilities. Šećerović expressed his sincere gratitude to Minister Vlaisavljević, emphasising that it was the very first time in the Club history to be received at a meeting in the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports.
