The “Ruka podrške” Association organised the programme to mark 3 December, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. On this occasion, a foundation stone was laid for the construction of a multifunctional hall, which will in the future serve as a space for rehabilitation, educational, cultural, and inclusive activities for beneficiaries. The ceremony gathered a large number of guests, including representatives of the Fund for Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities, the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, the Municipality of Hadžići, the ambassador of the “Ruka podrške” Association, as well as numerous partners, participants, and friends of the Association.
After the laying of the foundation stone, the second part of the program was held at the “Zujevina” restaurant, where a formal lunch and a presentation by the Fund for Professional Rehabilitation and Employment were organized, with a special emphasis on the importance of employment, empowerment, and inclusion of persons with disabilities.
Members of the “Ruka podrške” Association expressed their gratitude to all guests, institutions, and partners for their support and emphasized that the new multifunctional hall will represent a significant step forward in improving the conditions and quality of life of persons with disabilities in the local community.
