Representatives of the KUMA Association – International Centre for Visual Arts from Post-Conflict Societies, Claudija Zini, founder and Director and Ferida Abdagić, the Association member visited the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports on 26 May 2024.
This was an opportunity for Emilija Pavićević and Marko Francešević, who attended the meeting on behalf of the Ministry, to be informed in more detail about the work and activities of this organisation, founded in 2018 with the aim of providing support to young artists in education and creation of artistic expressions that emphasise political turmoil and the consequences of war through personal experience.
The project “7th “Kuma Summer School”, which will bring together young artists from 13 European countries, was also discussed at the meeting, as well as the possibilities of cooperation with the Ministry. Zini and Abdagić pointed out that they were closely following the work of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports and expressed their praise for all that they had the opportunity to see so far.
