The First session of the Interdepartmental Working Group for the Creation of the Students’ Standard Act of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held on Thursday, 16 January 2025 in the premises of the Government of the Federation of BiH,

The Interdepartmental Working Group is composed of three representatives of the Federal Ministry of Education and Science and representatives of the Federal Ministry of Justice, Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, Federal Ministry of Health, Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, Federal Ministry of Finances and the FBiH Government Office for Legislation and Compliance with the EU Regulations.

The session was attended by Martina Ostojić, an employee of the Youth Division, who had been appointed to the Working Group on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports.

The main task of the Working Group is to draft text of the document that will be important for improvement of the students’ standard and more equal approach to education.

In addition to significant changes related to the students’ rights and conditions, the Act is expected to improve the students’ standards through providing additional support in form of financial, cultural, health and social benefits.
