On 24 February 2026, the Round Table was held on the system and practice of assessing the impact of regulations in relevant ministries, organized by the FBiH Government Office for Legislation and Compliance with EU Regulations, with the support of OECD/SIGMA, with the aim of improving the system, coordination, communication and quality of RIA assessment.

The following topics were discussed at the Round Table: roles and responsibilities for RIA in ministries, RIA planning in the context of planning policies and legislative activities, the process of implementing RIA, internal coordination and quality control within ministries between different organizational units and external coordination with the Office for Legislation, the Federal Ministry of Finance and other institutions.

The results of the Round Table will be used to identify areas for improvement of the RIA system, as well as to design further support and capacity-building measures in the Federation of BiH.

On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, Ivona Trboglav, expert advisor for labour and legal relations, participated in the Round Table.
