During 2025, as well as at the beginning of 2026, the Management Boards of the Foundation for Publishing, the Foundation for Library Activities, the Foundation for Music, Performing and Visual Arts, and the Foundation for Cinematography carried out a series of activities aimed at ensuring the lawful, transparent and continuous operation of the foundations, as well as the preparation and implementation of public calls and programme documents.
Foundation for Publishing
The Management Board of the Foundation for Publishing operated in the following composition: Mario Mikulić, Chair, and Larisa Jovanović and Azra Adanalić, members of the Management Board. During 2025 and 2026, ten regular, telephone and electronic sessions were held, at which key issues relevant to the Foundation’s work were considered.
The Management Board adopted the Work Plan of the Foundation for Publishing for 2025, together with the corresponding financial plan, as well as the Programme for the Allocation of Funds with the criteria for distribution as defined by the Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2025. Decisions were also adopted on announcing the Public Call/Competition for the allocation of funds of the Foundation for Publishing, as well as the Public Call for the selection of the chair and members of the jury responsible for project evaluation.
Special attention was devoted to normative matters and the improvement of internal procedures. The Management Board adopted the Rulebook on Procedures and Criteria for Selecting Beneficiaries of Funds, the Rulebook on Fees for Work Performed for the Foundation, the Rules of Procedure for the Jury, as well as decisions related to the organisation of work and financial operations of the Foundation. Issues concerning inspection oversight, fulfilment of financial obligations and cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports were also considered, including the implementation of recommendations issued by the competent authorities.

Foundation for Library Activities
During 2025 and 2026, the Management Board of the Foundation for Library Activities carried out activities related to the preparation, publication and implementation of the Public Call for the selection of beneficiaries of funds. At the sessions of the Management Board, the texts of the Public Call, applicant guidelines, application forms, as well as rulebooks regulating the work of the jury and the method of calculating fees were considered and adopted.
The Management Board appointed commissions for verifying the formal and legal correctness of applications, as well as the jury for evaluating programmes and projects. It reviewed jury reports and adopted decisions on the selection of beneficiaries of funds for 2025. Reports on the earmarked use of funds were also considered and adopted, with particular focus on legality, completeness of documentation and responsible management of allocated funds.
In 2026, the Management Board reviewed and adopted the annual reports on the work of the Foundation and the Management Board for 2025, reports on public procurement procedures and the use of funds, and adopted decisions important for the representation and financial operations of the Foundation, thereby ensuring continuity of work in the upcoming period.

Foundation for Music, Performing and Visual Arts
The Management Board of the Foundation for Music, Performing and Visual Arts operated in the following composition: Alen Čustović, Chair, and Ante Batarilo and Emir Nuhanović, members of the Management Board. During 2025 and early 2026, the Management Board devoted particular attention to harmonising and stabilising the Foundation’s key implementation documents.
Minutes from previous sessions were reviewed, and decisions were adopted to annul certain previously adopted decisions, with the aim of enabling the lawful and unobstructed preparation and adoption of the 2024 Annual Report, the 2025 Work Plan and the 2025 Programme for the Allocation of Funds. The Management Board issued instructions for revising and harmonising these documents prior to their submission to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports for approval.
Commissions were also appointed for the implementation of competitive procedures, including commissions for verifying the formal and legal correctness of applications, evaluating programmes and projects, and selecting and appointing the chair and members of the jury, thereby creating the conditions for transparent and efficient allocation of funds in the fields of music, performing and visual arts.
The sessions were attended by the staff member responsible for monitoring the Foundation’s work, Sanja Arnautović, Head of the Department for Institutions and Associations in the Field of Culture.
Foundation for Cinematography
The Management Board of the Foundation for Cinematography operated in the following composition: David Damjanović, Chair of the Management Board, and Alma Cerić and Emina Ganić, members of the Management Board. In 2025, the submitted financial reports were reviewed, and following the adoption or rejection of the financial reports for the period 2022–2025, the Management Board adopted a decision to extend contracts for beneficiaries whose financial reports were approved and with whom an annex will be signed. The Rulebook on the Selection of the Chair and Members of the Jury was adopted.
A decision was adopted appointing Damir Nikulin as the responsible person for electronic banking.
Regarding EFAD activities, it was concluded that it is desirable to attend all meetings and to monitor developments on the international film scene, with particular emphasis on the festivals in Berlin and Cannes.
