On Saturday, 15 November 2025, the promotion of the The Sephardic Woman publication was organised at the Jewish Community in Sarajevo. This publication represents not only a scholarly and research endeavor, but also a bridge between past and present-a testimony to the role of women in transmitting the tradition, language, and identity of the Sephardic community. Its value is manifold: it enriches our understanding of the cultural layers that have intertwined these spaces for centuries and reminds us of the power of culture as a space of dialogue, tolerance, and togetherness.

On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, the promotion was attended by Tiodža Mekić, Head of the Department for Publishing, Fine Arts, Librarianship, and Archival Activities.
