The “Days of European Heritage 2024” programme continued this Wednesday on the Promenade of Culture in front of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports with the members of the Croatian Cultural and Art society “Gromiljak” from Kiseljak, founded in 2017.
The Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, welcomed the guests from Kiseljak, as well as the audience and passers-by who stop by week after week to enjoy the programme prepared by the Ministry.
“Our Promenade is still going on, the summer is moving on… Guests arrive, look, follow, both from this side of the Promenade and from the other side of the river. I am especially glad that our networks and roads are expanding and here we are today to meet and embrace Central Bosnia, Kiseljak. I am convinced that what our guests have prepared today will be pleasing to both the ear and the eye. Enjoy yourselves!” said Minister Vlaisavljević.
Leader of the singing section of the “Gromiljak” society, Vinko Franković, presented the work of the KUD “Gromiljak”, which has 60 members in two sections, folklore and singing. The President of the “Gromiljak” society, Spomenka Marijanović presented Minister Vlaisavljević with the gift of all the members.
The guests at the Promenade of Culture had an opportunity to enjoy a part of the rich repertoire of “Gromiljak”, which they had presented throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad.
The choir of the company sang the sevdah songs of Jozo Penava. In a wish to present the true spirit of their region, the guests from Kiseljak brought famous Kiseljak rolls so that guests of this week’s “Days of European Heritage” had the opportunity to try this speciality from Kiseljak.
