The Cultural and Artistic Society “Lola” from Sarajevo organised a press conference today on the occasion of the 4th International Folklore Festival of Sarajevo, which will be held from 30 July to 3 August 2025 in Sarajevo. The event was attended by Mirela Milićević Šečić, Assistant for Culture, who, on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports and Minister Sanja Vlaisavljević, sent words of greeting and wished success to this year’s Festival.
“In seven decades of continuous work and activity, the Cultural and Artistic Society “Lola” has been a place of unity, socialising, and respect for the other and different. With its stage performances, “Lola” presents the folklore wealth of all the peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina. An impressive number of members, carefully selected professional staff and numerous successful performances in the country and around the world resulted in the launch of the international folklore festival. On this occasion, we would like to wish all Lola members pleasant moments with friends from around the world and a complete success of this year’s Festival,” Milićević Šečić emphasised.
This year’s 4th International Folklore Festival Sarajevo will host 13 companies with over 400 participants from Poland, Bulgaria, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Turkey, Cyprus and all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
