On 13 October 2025, the premiere of the play for childred “Karius and Baktus” was held at the Center for Culture and Youth of the Municipality of Centar Sarajevo, co-produced by the Mundo Mondo Drama Actors’ Association and the Public Institution Center for Culture and Youth of the Municipality of Centar Sarajevo.

The play was inspired by the illustrated characters of the Norwegian author Thorbjørn Egner, and through an interesting and educational story about the girl Maja and the mischievous characters Karius and Baktus, children had the opportunity to learn how important it was to maintain regular oral hygiene. The combination of play, humour and education makes this play a warm, as well as a joyful and educational experience for the youngest audience.

The director of the play and text author is Mario Drmać, while the actors are: Alma Merunka, Adis Omerović and Armin Omerović.

The performance was attended by a representative of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, Sanja Arnautović, Head of the Department for Institutions and Associations in the Field of Culture, as a part of monitoring the implementation of cultural programmes and projects implemented with the support of the Ministry.
