Today, the Promenade in front of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports was transformed into a colorful stage of togetherness, art and cheerfulness, in honor of 21 June, the World Music Day. Under the clear sky, with sunny rhythms and a friendly atmosphere, this event brought together citizens of all generations, artists, students and passers-by who gladly joined the celebration.
In her address, the Federal Minister of Culture and Sports welcomed the guests on the Promenade of Culture, emphasizing the importance of such events that celebrated the power of the universal language – music. She invited everyone to stop, listen and allow music to connect them, regardless of everyday worries.
The musical part of the program began with a performance by the young talented cellist Jan Prusac from the Ivan pl. Zajc High School of Music of Mostar, whose tones “embraced” the audience. Jan’s performance was followed by piano performances by Azra Medić, a professor at the Sarajevo Academy of Music, and renowned musician Vladimir Podany, who each brought a special energy to the day in their own way. The programme was further enriched with a dance number by dancer Deniz Hodžić, whose performance combined movement and melody in a perfect harmony.
The highlight of the programme was the performance of brothers Ivan and Igor Bralić from Travnik, who make up the popular duo B-Brothers. Their rhythms made the audience dance and created an atmosphere of joy. The sounds of the guitar echoed along the Promenade, inviting guests to smiles, applause and the occasional spontaneous dance step, confirming that music truly had the power to bring people together and spread joy. The interpretations of the Bralić Brothers carried the audience away and allowed them to feel the beauty of belonging to the same rhythm of life.
