On Monday, 16 March 2026, Federal Minister of Culture and Sports Sanja Vlaisavljević held the first in a series of meetings with a group of mayors and heads of municipalities, which opened a new form of dialogue and cooperation between the Ministry and local communities.

This meeting represents an important step forward in the work of the Ministry, with the aim of strengthening partnership relations and joint action on projects that contribute to cultural and sports development throughout the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The minister emphasized that continuous communication with local communities is key to identifying their needs and ensuring balanced development. The meeting is also the beginning of regular meetings that will enable the exchange of ideas, experiences and plans, and contribute to the creation of inclusive and sustainable cultural and sports policies.

With this step, the Ministry of Culture and Sports confirms its commitment to be an open and reliable partner to local communities, in joint work to strengthen cultural identity and promote sports as the basis of a healthy society.
