The State Sports Award for 2024 was awarded to Bh. Olympian Ismail Barlov on 13 February 2025.

After the opening speech, recognitions were presented to the categorized athletes at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the year 2024 with one-time financial aid to the deserving athletes of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the top athletes of the international class for the year 2024.

“Our dear Ismail, the State Sports Award went to the best possible address! Your sporting successes, enthusiasm, persistence and always new set goals, despite of all the challenges, can be and are an inspiration to everyone. We are proud of you and congratulate you on another recognition”, Minister Sanja Vlaisavljević said in her congratulatory message to the para-swimmer.

The official reception on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports was attended by expert advisor Alma Kurtalić from the Sports Department, who is a member of the Commission for Awarding of the State Award for Sports of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2024.
