I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the kind invitation to the premiere of the play “The Mayor or this is a play about Mujaga Komadina” by Adnan Lugonić, directed by Dino Mustafić.

It is a special honor for me to receive an invitation to a theatrical event that revives the character of Mujaga Komadine in an artistically powerful and socially relevant way – a historical figure who left a deep mark on the public and urban life of Mostar and Bosnia and Herzegovina. I believe that this play, through contemporary stage expression and thoughtful directorial interpretation, will open a space for dialogue about the responsibility, vision and legacy of public officials in our society.

Theatrical art plays an invaluable role in fostering the culture of memory and critical reflection of our past, and projects like this confirm the vitality and creative power of the domestic theater scene. In this sense, the premiere of this play represents a valuable contribution to the cultural life of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
