On the occasion of the opening of the jubilee, 30th, Sarajevo Film Festival, Minister Sanja Vlaisavljević sent a congratulatory message to the Director of the Festival, Jovan Marjanović, and the SFF entire team:
“Dear Mr. Marjanović,
on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, I am sending the heartiest congratulations to the whole, valuable team of the Sarajevo Film Festival, headed by you, on the occasion of a significant jubilee: the 30th birthday of the Sarajevo Film Festival.
Decades of hard work and effort, as well as great success witnessed by film lovers, are proof that an idea can turn into a great story.
I want to congratulate to Miro Purivatra and Izeta Građević who started the story of a Festival when many did not believe that this story could become a great bridge that would be uniting people from all over the world.
Every year you set the scale of the Festival higher and that is highly appreciated by everyone all true film lovers. May this year’s Festival bring many great achievements! Let the BiH film workers present the best and finally let the bridges of culture be the bridges that connect the top-level art”, Minister Vlaisavljević said.
