The Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, signed today in her office in Sarajevo contracts on the allocation of funds in accordance with the Decision on the selection of beneficiaries of funds – “Capital transfers to other levels of government and funds – Construction, adaptation and reconstruction of cultural institutions” determined by the Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the year 2025 to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, adopted at the session of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, held on 12 May 2025.

The contracts were signed on behalf of the beneficaries by:

– Mayor of the City of Visoko, Mirza Ganić, for the project “Renovation of the exhibition space and creation of a permanent exhibition in the Local Museum of Visoko” and
– Rector of the University of Sarajevo, Sarajevo Canton, Tarik Zaimović for the project “Building and equipping the lLbrary of the University of Sarajevo”.
The contract-signing ceremony was attended aslo by the Director of the Library of the University of Sarajevo, Nadina Lendo.

Following the signing ceremony, a constructive discussion followed among the participants, during which the possibilities for further development of cultural projects were discussed, as well as strategies for improving cooperation between the academic community, local authorities and cultural institutions.

Finally, the Minister wished the signatories successful implementation of the projects.
