The Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, signed today in her office in Sarajevo the contracts on the allocation of funds in accordance with the Decision on the selection of beneficiaries of funds – “Capital transfers to other levels of government and funds – Construction, adaptation and reconstruction of cultural institutions” determined by the Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the year 2025 to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, adopted at the session of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, held on 12 May 2025.

The contracts were signed on behalf of the beneficaries by:

– Mayor of the City of Orašje, Marijan Oršolić, for the project “Completion of the construction of the first phase and the construction of the second phase of GSK Center Orašje” and
– Mayor of the Municipality of Bosansko Grahovo, Smiljka Radlović for the project “Replacing the roof on the House of Culture and arranging the plateau in front of the House of Culture in Bosansko Grahovo”.

After the signing ceremony, discussions were held on future steps in the implementation of the agreements, which have secured significant financial resources for the improvement of cultural infrastructure and support for local cultural projects. The importance of transparency and efficiency in the use of funds was also emphasized, as was the need for further cooperation to ensure the sustainable development of cultural initiatives that will enrich the social life of local communities.

Finally, the Minister wished the signatories successful implementation of the projects.
