The Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, signed today in her office in Sarajevo contracts on the allocation of funds in accordance with the Decision on the selection of beneficiaries of funds – “Capital transfers to other levels of government and funds – Construction, adaptation and reconstruction of cultural institutions” established by the Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the year 2025 to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, adopted at the 54th session of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, held on 12 May 2025.

The contracts were signed on behalf of the beneficaries by:

1. Mayor of the City of Lukavac, Edin Delić, for the “Reconstruction of the Devetak Culture Center” project;
2. Mayor of Gradačac, Hajrudin Mehanović for the project “Illumination of the Old Town in Gradačac”;
3. Mayor of the Municipality of Donji Vakuf, Senad Selimović for the project “Adaptation of the House of Culture and the Surroundings”;
4. Mayor of Olovo Municipality, Đemal Memagić for the project “Multifunctional hall Olovo phase II. Adaptation of the interior of the auditorium”;
5. Mayor of the Hadžići Municipality, Eldar Čomor, for the project “Performance of works on the reconstruction and extension of the Social Center – Cultural Center in Pazarić” and
6. Assistant to the Mayor of the Municipality of Sapna, Nusret Hamidović for the project “Construction of Phase IV of the House of Culture in Sapna”.

After the signing ceremony, a discussion developed about the situation in the field of culture in these cities and municipalities. The signatories emphasized their commitment to the development of cultural initiatives, emphasizing that the allocated funds would enable the implementation of projects that would have a long-term positive impact on the local community.

Finally, the Minister wished all signatories successful implementation of the projects.
