Federal Minister of Culture and Sports Sanja Vlaisavljević attended the opening ceremony of the 29th Croatian Film Day “Ivo Gregurević”, an event dedicated to Croatian film art and culture. The event was attended by numerous guests from the cultural, social and political life of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.
The programme began with paying tribute and laying wreaths at the eternal resting place of Ivo Gregurević at the Karaula Cemetery in Donja Mahala. The entire programme was dedicated to the five Golden Arenas won by Ivo Gregurević. As a part of the programme, promoters of Croatian film and film culture were awarded – Siniša Popović, Croatian theatre, television and film actor, and Mate Matišić, playwright, screenwriter, dramatist and musician.
This event contributes to connecting Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad, as well as fostering the memory of the great Ivo Gregurević.
