The Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, attended today the humanitarian 3×3 basketball tournament in Vitez, organised with the aim of providing support to the “Osmica” (The Eight) Association, which has been actively working on preserving the memory of children who were victims of war.

This sporting event sent a strong message of solidarity and peace. All those gathered, including the citizens and children, who came to epxress their support, once again showed that togetherness and empathy could initiate positive changes.

Minister Vlaisavljević emphasized the importance of sports in the process of dealing with the past and building a better future, stressing that sports events like this one, in addition to enabling competition, were also providing an opportunity to gather for the noble purpose of promoting peace and preserving memory.
