On 9 March 2026, the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports was visited by the mayor of Bihać, Selvedin Sedić, and the mayor’s assistant for social activities, Alisa Mahmutagić.

Welcoming the guests to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, Minister Vlaisavljević informed about the current projects that are being implemented in the area of ​​the city, as well as about the planned initiatives that aim to improve the cultural offer and sports facilities in Bihać.

The Minister emphasized the commitment of the Ministry to provide support to projects that contribute to the development of the local community and the improvement of cultural and sports life in accordance with the available budget funds. The importance of projects that encourage the involvement of young people in cultural and sports activities, as well as the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage, was particularly highlighted.

It was concluded that it is necessary to intensify the cooperation between the Ministry and the City of Bihać, in order to ensure the implementation of projects of strategic importance for the local community through joint activities and programs.
