The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports is pleased to announce the departure of the Bosnian and Herzegovinian National Futsal Team to the World Futsal Championship, which will be held this year in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 21 May to 1 June.

On this occasion, a meeting was organised at the Ministry between the Expert Advisor in the Sports Sector, Alma Kurtalić, and the President of the Futsal” Association, Elvin Blažević, and the Vice-president Ervin Blažević.

The departure of the Bosnian and Herzegovinian futsal team to this prestigious international competition represents an important sports and representative moment for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Participation on the world stage confirms the continuous development of futsal in our country, but also shows the dedication of the members of the Association’s board and athletes to represent BiH worthily in competition with the best teams in the world.

The Ministry expresses full confidence in the coaching staff and players, and believes that with their sportsmanship, dedication and team spirit they will be true ambassadors of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
