The Federal Minister of Culture and Sports Sanja Vlaisavljević met today in her office in Sarajevo with the delegation of the Municipality of Jajce led by the Mayor of the Municipality, Edin Hozan. In addition to the Mayor, the meeting was attended by Josip Topić, President of the Municipal Council of the Municipality of Jajce, Anto Brkan, Director of the Agency for Cultural, Historical and Natural Heritage and Development of Tourism Potential of the City of Jajce, and Fikret Čančar, Director of the Jajce Cultural Center.
After the introductory remarks, the meeting attendatns discussed initiatives for the improvement of cultural and sports life in the Municipality of Jajce, with a special emphasis on the organization and further development of the BiH Theater Games in Jajce, an event with a long tradition that significantly enriched the cultural scene of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Participants emphasized the importance of institutional support and joint efforts to ensure optimal conditions for artistic creativity and sports activities, with the aim of strengthening the cultural identity and social cohesion of the local community, and the Minister expressed the Ministry’s readiness to provide further support in accordance with its capabilities.
As a highlight of the meeting, Minister Vlaisavljević and Mayor Hozan signed the Agreement on the Allocation of Funds from the Budget of the Federation of BiH from “Capital Transfers to Other Levels of Government and Funds – Construction, Adaptation and Reconstruction of Cultural Institutions”, which allocated funds to the Municipality of Jajce for the project “Development of Archaeological Exhibits in Jajce”.
