The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports proudly extends heartfelt congratulations to the young paraswimming representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ismail Zulfić, on his outstanding achievement at the 6th International Para Swimming Festival in Zagreb.
By breaking the senior European record in the 100m butterfly (S5) with a time of 1:33.64, Ismail once again demonstrated that dedication, perseverance, and courage can push the boundaries of what is possible. His name is deservedly inscribed among the greatest sporting accomplishments of the Old Continent.
Special congratulations also go to Ismail Barlov, who excelled in Croatia by winning the trophy for the most valuable result in the younger juniors and seniors category, becoming the overall best competitor of the festival. His achievement—seven gold and one silver medal—is the result of exceptional talent as well as devoted work.
We also congratulate the hardworking team of the SPID Swimming Club from Sarajevo, led by head coach Amel Kapo and coach Ilda Kukuruzović, who tirelessly work on developing our young athletes and promoting paraswimming in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
These impressive results confirm that Bosnia and Herzegovina has top athletes who, through their work, passion, and success, represent our country in the best possible light.
Ismails, thank you for inspiring, motivating, and showing that dreams become reality when we dedicate our hearts to them.
