On 10 December 2025, the International Sufi Festival “Meyli” was held at the Armed Forces House of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This was the first festival of its kind in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the aim of affirming the Sufi musical and spiritual tradition and establishing a platform for cultural dialogue through art, music, and professional content.

As part of the program, a panel discussion was held in which experts in the fields of musical art, ethnomusicology, and cultural heritage spoke about the Sufi musical tradition. In addition, a concert entitled “Sufi Music in Bosnia and Herzegovina” took place, featuring both domestic and international performers: Orient from Bosnia, Benjamin & Rabija, Ali Ungan, Ensemble “Mesudija”, and whirling dervishes accompanied by Armin Muzaferija.

The event was attended on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports by Tidža Mekić.
