Based on the expert opinion of the Institute for the Protection of Monuments no. 7-36-4-3823-2/24 A.A, dated 5 August 2024 and the signed Agreement no. 04-01/25 of 6 January 2025 between the investor, the Parish of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Stup, Ilidža and the contractor, Neimari d.o.o. from Sarajevo to carry out construction-craftsmanship works on the renovation of the facade and the interior of the Church.

The works began on 13 January 2025 under the conservation supervision of the expert team of the Institute for the Protection of Monuments, Azer Aličić and Dženana Šaran.

All the damage to the facade was caused by bad connections of horisontal and vertical gutters. After the start of the works, the contractor immediately proceeded to erect the scaffolding and repair the damaged layers of the facade. All damaged wall surfaces were cleaned and washed and re-plastered in all necessary layers and techniques.

Good weather conditions were favourable for the works to proceed according to the predicted dynamics.

By visiting the construction site with expert supervision, the materials for finishing the facade up to painting were defined.

Until the next inspection, the contractor is obliged to prepare paint samples for painting the facade.
