The Institute for the Protection of Monuments was addressed by the Department of Urbanism, Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection of the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo with a request for an extension of the Decision granting approval for the installation of a cantilever illuminated advertisement on the facade of a building at Ćumurija 2, which falls within the scope of the national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina entitled the Historic Urban Landscape of Sarajevo, to which protection measures established by the Law on the Implementation of Decisions of the Commission for the Protection of National Monuments apply.
After reviewing the submitted file, photograph and conceptual design of the advertisement, it was concluded that the advertisement was of acceptable dimensions and that approval could be issued.

The Institute for the Protection of Monuments was addressed by the Department for Urbanism, Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection of the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo with a request for an extension of the Decision, which issued approval for the installation of a vertical illuminated advertisement on the facade of a building at Josipa Štadlera Street 8, which falls within the scope of the national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina called the Historic Urban Landscape of Sarajevo, to which protection measures established by the Law on the Implementation of Decisions of the Commission for the Protection of National Monuments apply.
After reviewing the submitted file and photograph of the advertisement, it was determined that the advertisement was of acceptable dimensions and that approval could be issued.

The Institute for the Protection of Monuments was addressed by the Federal Ministry of Spatial Planning with the request of Husein Hadžimusić for an expert opinion on the upgrade of the attic floor of the main building at Očaktanum Street 36, which belongs to the scope of the national monument of BiH called the Historical Urban Landscape of Sarajevo, to which the protection measures established by the Law on the Implementation of the Decisions of the Commission for the Protection of National Monuments are applied.
Upon inspection of the submitted file and the redesigned project documentation for the extension of the residential house, it was established that the designer had accepted the architectural and design comments of the Institute on the previously submitted project documentation.
For the remaining remarks, proposals for adequate solutions were submitted to the designer.
It was concluded that the requested consent could be issued on the submitted documentation with the designer’s obligation to adjust the project documentation for the construction of the attic floor according to the proposals received.
Also, the investor is obliged to inform the Institute about the start of work on the building so that timely professional supervision can be carried out.

The Department for Urban Planning, Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection of the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo addressed the Office for the Protection of Monuments with a request from “PZU BAHCCI HEALTH SERVICES BH” Sarajevo for the extension of the Decision granting approval for placing an advertisement on the flat roof of a residential and commercial building at Hamdije Kreševljakovića Street 57, which belongs to the scope of the national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina called Historical Urban Landscape Sarajevo, to which the protection measures established by the Law on the Implementation of Decisions of the Commission for the Protection of National Monuments are applied.
Upon inspection of the submitted file, photo and conceptual design of the advertisement, it was concluded that the advertisement was of acceptable dimensions and that consent could be issued.

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Zenica-Doboj Canton approached the Institute for the Protection of Monuments with a request for the issuance of an expert opinion for the construction of a newly designed residential building, within the scope of the Archaeological Area Mili – Coronation and Burial Church of the Bosnian Kings, Arnautovići, the Town of Visoko. By inspecting the documentation and location, it was determined that the plot belonged to 3rd protection zone for which protection measures and norms for the construction of new buildings were defined.
Given that the site had never been completely reconnoitered and systematically archaeologically investigated, the Institute requested a reconnaissance of the terrain before the start of earthworks, and the following measures would be defined based on the results of the reconnaissance. The Institute also gave suggestions regarding the dimensions and design of the building’s appearance.
