On 18 March 2026, an inspection was carried out of the state of conservation and restoration works on the ongoing maintenance of the facade of the parish church of St. Michael the Archangel in Vareš.
After preparatory work on the southeast facade, the final layer of Caparol paint was applied. The base color for flat surfaces is a light tone from the manufacturer Caparol (made according to sample STO 32114). Decorative plastic – cornices that were manually drawn on site, with the help of a template, are in white color (Caparol made according to sample STO 16002). Prominent parts of the facade are painted in a darker tone (Caparol made according to sample STO 32112). The works on the northeast facade are ready for the final layer of paint according to the given schemes.
As previously agreed, the designs of the canopy (two variants) of the entrance on the northwest facade were made and presented to the owner of the building. The first variant is modeled on the entrance part of the main facade, and the second is a removable canopy made of steel construction and glass. It was decided to perform according to the first variant, which is a masonry canopy.
It has been established that the works are performed with quality, in accordance with the project documentation and given guidelines.
