The Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina was informed by an act of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina that a meeting of the Reporting Group for Education, Culture, Sports, Youth and Environment (GR-C) was held in Strasbourg on January 16, 2026.

Brief information from the session is given below, with special emphasis on issues from the scope of the Youth Sector.

At the Conference of Council of Europe Ministers Responsible for Youth, held in Valletta in October 2025, the importance of adopting the Final Declaration and Resolution on Youth was highlighted. It was emphasized that young people should be central actors in decision-making processes. The next conference of ministers is planned for the end of 2028 in Luxembourg, and the representatives of the member states pointed out the need to further improve the position of young people in society.
The representative of Romania announced the establishment of the third European Youth Centre in Romania, which will further strengthen support for the active participation of young people at the European level.
