The meeting of the reporting group for education, culture, sports, youth and the environment (GR-C) was held in Strasbourg on January 16, 2026. The report group was chaired by the Ambassador of Andorra, Andreu Jordi. The meeting was attended by the first secretary Dragana Kremenović-Kusmuk in front of the Permanent Representation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Strasbourg. At the meeting, the agenda was discussed through six points, with the 6th point referring to sports.

At the 1534th meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, held on July 9, 2025, the draft response to Recommendation 2297 (2025) of the Parliamentary Assembly on the protection of human rights in and through sport was considered. The draft was supported with minor changes, including the confirmation of Spain’s membership in EPAS from January 1, 2026, and the invitation to countries that are not yet members to join this agreement. It was recommended that the draft be adopted without further discussion at the 1548th session of the Committee of Ministers, scheduled for January 21, 2026.
