On Sunday, 7 December 2025, a festive Christmas concert was held in the Sarajevo Cathedral of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in BiH and the Archdiocese of Vrhbosnia, under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia.

The Varaždin Tamburitza Orchestra and the Varaždin Folklore Ensemble performed 18 traditional Christmas songs in authentic and artistically designed arrangements, in a musical combination of tamburitza, polyphonic singing and folklore interpretation.

The concert brought together the large audience – representatives of the diplomatic corps, religious, cultural, political and social life, and thus offered an opportunity to strengthen cultural ties and nurture the rich musical tradition of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in a festive atmosphere.

On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, the concert was attended by Anita Vlašić.
