On 18 February 2025, the Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, received the President of the Serbian Educational and Cultural Society “Prosvjeta” from Mostar, Sanja Bjelica Šagovnović.

The President of SPKD “Prosvjeta” Mostar, Ms. Bjelica Šagovnović, pointed out at the beginning of the meeting that the Society was organising the cultural and entertainment programme with various events such as concerts, poetry evenings, exhibitions and similar events.

Furthermore, she explained that of the fundamental problems faced by the Society was lack of cooperation with Serbian educational and cultural societies from other cities, such as SPKD from Mostar, citing SPKD “Prosvjeta” Sarajevo as the main example.

In conclusion, Minister Vlaisavljević emphasised that the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports was offering equal opportunities to all independent associations of citizens to participate in public invitations and that was the only way in which the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports could support projects that promoted culture and tradition.
