This day obliges us to preserve the memory of millions of innocent victims with dignity and permanently, but also to clearly and responsibly bear witness to the truth about one of the darkest chapters in human history. The commemorative academy that you organized represents a valuable contribution to the culture of remembrance, the promotion of humanistic values, and the strengthening of awareness of the importance of the fight against anti-Semitism, hatred, and all forms of intolerance.

I thank you for your dedicated work and sensitive approach in marking this important date, as well as for your efforts to preserve memory as a permanent reminder and moral obligation of our society through culture, education, and public dialogue.
