The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Bosnia and Herzegovina organized, on the occasion of International Migrants Day, the exhibition “Imagine Migration – Zamislite migracije” with the support of the Kingdom of Sweden.
The exhibition consists of more than twenty large photographs, accompanied by personal stories and symbolic interpretations presented through AI technology, which portray the dreams and journeys of migrants. The exhibition is also an example of how art can strengthen dialogue on inclusion and human dignity.
“Sweden proudly supports this initiative, which transforms fundamental European values of inclusion and respect for diversity into practice – thereby creating opportunities for people on the move and strengthening social cohesion within local communities,” emphasized Helena Lagerlöf, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This activity is part of the program “Translating the Sustainable Development Goals Framework in BiH into Sustainable and Inclusive Growth” (SDG2BiH), funded by Sweden and implemented by UNDP in partnership with UNICEF and UN Women, within the United Nations’ support to the authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals Framework.
The exhibition was attended on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports by Bjanka Alajbegović.
