Last night, in front of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, and as a part of the celebration of “Days of European Heritage 2025”, a presentation of the town of Široki Brijeg was held.

“In the hope that this evening, the evening of Široki Brijeg in Sarajevo, will be unforgettable, it is my pleasure to welcome you here to the Promenade, in ever-increasing numbers. It is a special honour for me that the Mayor of Široki Brijeg is here with us. I want you to enjoy yourself, have a good time and feel at home. Welcome,” said Minister Vlaisavljević to the guests at the beginning of last night’s gathering.

The guests were also greeted by the Mayor of Široki Brijeg Ivo Pavković:

“I would like to greet you all on behalf of the City Administration of Široki Brijeg. I am glad that we came to the Promenade of Culture in Sarajevo today and that we have the opportunity to present Široki Brijeg in the most beautiful light. It is difficult for me as the Mayor to talk about my town, Široki Brijeg, because it would take me the whole evening. That is why I will invite you all to come to Široki and enjoy our hospitality. I would like to thank Minister Vlaisavljević and the Ministry for the good cooperation and organisation of tonight’s event,” said Mayor Pavković. The program and guests who organised the two-hour program on the Promenade were introduced by Ivan Kraljević, Advisor to the Mayor Pavković.

The following artists from Široki Brijeg presented themselves to the Ministry and the gathered audience:  the Široki Brijeg Brass Band, Ivan Sušac and Mia Zovko from the Široki Brijeg Secondary Music School, musical and artistic duo Marijana and Ivan Soldo, Children’s Group of the Cultural and Artistic Association Mokro and Ante Pinjuh on the harmonica, Joško and Mate. Towards the end of the evening, members of the Široki Brijeg band Rock Trajanja held a concert in front of the Ministry.

Along with numerous delicacies prepared by the guests from Široki Brijeg, who proved to be exceptional hosts on the Promenade and delighted the visitors, the socialising continued until late in the evening and judging by the mood of the guests, the Promenade of Culture became a place of meeting, socialising, positive energy and moments to remember.
