On 11 October 2025, the employee of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, Edna Šunjić, attended the Sports Camp at the Garden “City” Hotel in Konjic. The Camp provided an opportunity for education, exchange of experience and improvement of the skills of participants in various sports activities.

The Camp provides an opportunity for people with Down syndrome to develop skills, social contacts and self-confidence through various sports activities, and participants and visitors have the opportunity to support inclusivity and equality in sports.

The presence of our employee Edna Šunjić at this event demonstrates the commitment of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports to supporting inclusive programmes and activities that enable people with special needs to be active members of the community.

The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports supports all types of sports activities, educational programmes in inclusive sports, emphasising the importance of including people with Down syndrome and other young people with special needs in all forms of sports activities, so that everyone has equal opportunities for learning, development and active lifestyle.
