On 9 July 2025, the contract-signing ceremony was held in the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports with representatives of cities and municipalities, beneficiaries of the Capital Transfer – Construction of Sports Infrastructure.
The contracts were signed by Minister Sanja Vlaisavljević with the following beneficiaries:
- Mayor of Sarajevo, Predrag Puharić, for the project “Reconstruction of swimming-pool technical elements for the treatment of pool water at the Olympic pool of the island”;
- Mayor of the Municipality of Centar, Srđan Mandić, for the project “Reconstruction of the Asim Ferhatović Hasa Stadium to meet the conditions for playing Category IV matches according to UEFA standards”;
- Mayor of the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo, Irfan Čengić, for the project “Renovation of the sports field in front of the public institution of the Vrhbosna Elementary School in Sarajevo”;
- Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Nermin Muzura, for the project “Construction of a sports hall in Hrasnica”;
- Mayor of Bosanska Krupa, Armin Halitović, for the projects “Construction of sports fields at SRC ADE” and “Construction of the football field of NK Sloga – Phase I”.
After the contracts-signing, further cooperation with local communities, challenges in implementing projects and possibilities for future investments were discussed. The Ministry confirmed the continuation of support for projects that were promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for all citizens.
