The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports hosted a contracts-signing ceremony for the representatives of cities and municipalities, beneficiaries of the Capital Transfer – Construction of Sports Infrastructure. The contracts were signed by Minister Sanja Vlaisavljević with the following beneficiaries:

1. Nihad Uk, Prime-minister of the Sarajevo Canton for the project “Investment in the Reconstruction and Modernisation of the Zetra Sports Hall”;

2. Emir Muratović, Mayor of the Municipality of Jablanica for the project “Renovation of the Jablanica Sports Hall’s Ground”;

3. Ines Sulić on behalf of the Mayor of the City of Mostar for four projects:

a) “Reconstruction of the Eastern Stand of the HŠK Zrinjski Mostar Stadium”,

b) “Construction of the Mostar Cultural and Sports Centre”,

c) “Construction of the Southern Stand of the Rođeni Stadium” and

d) “Delivery and Installation of Electrical Installations for the FC MOSTAR SG Sports Hall”;

4. Antonio Radić on behalf of the Mayor of the City of Ljubuški for the project “Reconstruction of the City Sports Hall” and

5. Anel Kajtazović on behalf of the Mayor of the City of Bihać for two projects:

a) “Auxiliary Field of the Borići City Stadium” and

b) Prekounje Sports Centre – OFK Bihać;

After the contracts-signing ceremony, further cooperation with local communities, challenges in project implementation and opportunities for future investments were discussed. Special emphasis was placed on transparent management of funds and sustainability of sports infrastructure, in order to ensure a long-term contribution to the development of sports at the local level.

The Ministry confirmed continued support for projects that were promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for all citizens.
