Minister Sanja Vlaisavljević signed today contracts at the Ministry with beneficiaries of Capital Transfers for the construction, adaptation, and reconstruction of cultural institutions and sports infrastructure.

Contracts for the Cycle II were signed by:

• Ivo Pavković, Mayor of Široki Brijeg, for the projects “Development and Improvement of Sports Infrastructure in the City of Široki Brijeg” in the amount of 100,000.00 BAM, and “Renovation of the Premises of the Croatian Cultural Home Široki Brijeg” in the amount of 200,000.00 BAM;
• Danko Jurič, Mayor of Kupres Municipality, for the project “Reconstruction of the Cultural Facility Croatian Home Kupres” in the amount of 200,000.00 BAM;
• Boris Marić, Mayor of Kreševo Municipality, for the project “Interior Renovation of the Cultural Facility HKD Napredak Kreševo” in the amount of 25,000.00 BAM;
• Stjepan Dujo, Mayor of Novi Travnik, for the project “Reconstruction of the Heating, Cooling, and Ventilation System in the Cultural Center” in the amount of 400,000.00 BAM;
• Tihomir Kvesić, President of the City Council, on behalf of Mayor Vedran Markotić of Ljubuški, for the project “Equipping the Historical-Memorial Center, Phase II” in the amount of 330,000.00 BAM;
• Slaven Zeljko, Advisor to the Mayor of Mostar Mario Kordić, for the project “Construction of the Cultural-Sports Center Mostar” in the amount of 5,000,000.00 BAM;
• Ivan Buntić, Mayor of Tomislavgrad Municipality, for the project “Renovation and Adaptation of the City Sports Hall in Tomislavgrad” in the amount of 200,000.00 BAM.

Following the ceremonial signing of the contracts, discussions were held on further cooperation, challenges in project implementation, and potential for future investments. Special emphasis was placed on the need for transparent spending of funds and sustainability of the developed facilities, to ensure long-term contributions to the development of culture and sports at the local level.
