Contract worth KM 3,000,000 signed for the construction of the multipurpose sports hall in Stolac

On Tuesday, 17 June 2025, in the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports the signing ceremony of the contract for co-financing the project “Construction of the multipurpose sports hall in Stolac” was held. The Contract was signed by Minister Vlaisavljević and the Mayor of Stolac, Stjepan Bošković. The funds were allocated in accordance with the Decision of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the selection of beneficiaries of the funds – “Capital transfers to other levels of government and funds – Construction, adaptation and reconstruction of sports infrastructure”.

This significant infrastructure project marks a significant step forward for the development of sports and recreation in this Herzegovinian city. The hall will serve as a multifunctional space for various sports and social events, and as a place for gathering and connecting the local community.

After the signing, the Minister and the Mayor discussed the next phases of the project, with an emphasis on transparency, the dynamics of the work and the involvement of the local community in further planning. Special emphasis was placed on the need to create a quality space for young people, who will be able to use this hall for both educational and recreational purposes.

The Minister expressed her satisfaction with the successful cooperation with the City of Stolac, emphasizing that investing in sports infrastructure was one of the priorities of the Ministry. Mayor Bošković thanked the Ministry for its support, emphasizing that this project would have long-term significance for the entire region.
