In the office of the Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, the contract-signing ceremony for the allocation of subsidies to the Public Company “Filmski Centar Sarajevo” was held today. Funds in the amount of 450,000.00 KM are allocated for the purpose of co-financing the work of the Public Enterprise “Filmski Centar Sarajevo” for the preservation and protection of film materials.

Ines Tanović, director, signed the contract on behalf of the Public Enterprise “Filmski Centar Sarajevo”, pointing out that support is necessary for the functioning of the public enterprise in order to realize the planned activities.

In the archive of the company “Filmski Centar Sarajevo” there is a collection of 89 feature films and over 500 documentaries and short films that are of great importance for Bosnian cinematography. The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina established a public enterprise for the production, preservation and distribution of film art in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
