The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports sends sincere congratulations to the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina and member of the Taekwondo Club “Sarajevo”, Ada Avdagić, on her exceptional success and winning the silver medal at the prestigious senior G2 tournament “Slovenia Open” held in Ljubljana.
By winning the silver medal in the category of senior women up to 53 kilograms, in a competition of as many as 800 competitors from 49 countries of the world, Ada Avdagić once again showed top quality, sportsmanship and represented Bosnia and Herzegovina on the international sports scene. Especially impressive is the series of four convincing victories that led her to the final fight, where she won a great second place after a great fight.
This result represents a significant contribution to the promotion of Bosnian sports and additionally confirms the continuity of top performances of our national team at international competitions. At the same time, the points won for the world and Olympic rankings represent an important step towards new sporting challenges and major competitions to come.
The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports congratulates the professional staff, the Taekwondo Club “Sarajevo”, as well as the Taekwondo Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the hope that Ada Avdagić will continue to achieve success in her future performances and proudly represent Bosnia and Herzegovina.
