The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports extends heartfelt congratulations to the young national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina on their remarkable achievement and the bronze medal won at the U-18 World Championship, Division III, Group B.
Our selection secured a significant victory against the national team of Turkmenistan with a score of 4:1 at the Mirza Delibašić Hall, demonstrating fighting spirit, teamwork, and quality with which they proudly represent Bosnia and Herzegovina on the international sports stage.
We especially highlight the brilliant performance of Faris Čapin, who contributed immeasurably to this success with two goals and an assist, as well as the outstanding saves of goalkeeper Tarik Mulabegović, who was named player of the match. This medal is a testament to the dedicated work of the athletes, coaching staff, and all those who continuously invest efforts in the development of ice hockey in our country.
The bronze medal represents a great incentive for the further development of winter sports in Bosnia and Herzegovina and a strong message that young talents, with the support of institutions and the community, can achieve top results.
The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports proudly stands by our athletes and will continue to provide support for the development of sports, the affirmation of young talents, and the promotion of Bosnia and Herzegovina through sporting achievements.
Once again, we extend sincere congratulations to the national team, the coaching staff, and the Ice Hockey Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on this exceptional result.
