Dear Mr. Andjelic,

It is with deep respect and pride that I address you on the occasion of the publication and announced presentation of the monograph “Usora 1991-1995”, because this book is certainly not just a collection of historical facts, but a testimony to the courage, dignity and unwavering will of the people of Usora to preserve their identity and their community in the most difficult times.

As the Federal Minister of Culture, I feel special gratitude for this monograph, which represents a valuable contribution to the collective memory of our country and which carries a strong message to future generations: that the values ​​of freedom, togetherness and cultural heritage are preserved and passed on.

Your engagement, Mr. Mayor, deserves sincere congratulations. With this valuable work, Usora shows that the culture of memory is much more than an obligation, that it is an act of love for its people and its history.
