The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports extends its sincere congratulations to the Bosnia and Herzegovina Judo National Team on their exceptional success at the Senior African Open in Casablanca, a points-based tournament from the official calendar of the International Judo Federation (IJF).
The four medals won – gold and three bronze – and a high fifth place in the overall standings among 325 competitors from 42 countries on five continents represent a great sporting result and a strong start to the Olympic qualification cycle.
Special congratulations go to the gold medalist Korina Džidić, as well as the bronze medalists Johanna Elisabeth Klinger, Mustafa Hebib and Rina Vrljić, who with their performances worthily represented Bosnia and Herzegovina on the international stage and won important points for the IJF Olympic ranking.
This success confirms the quality, commitment and competitiveness of Bosnian and Herzegovina’s judo at the senior level and represents a strong incentive for continued successful work in the upcoming Olympic cycle.
